Mar’s wards triumphed 4-2 on penalties after both sides played out a 1-1 draw in normal time but the Senegal coach had nothing but praise for the losers. “The Flying Eagles are a strong team and the fact that they were defeated in the WAFU Cup does not take anything away from the team especially as penalty shootout is a game of luck.

No: Box-office bonanza doesn’t make this mishmash of moral …

box office as each of the rubber-nippled Keaton Kilmer and Clooney Batman films put together. As for worldwide gross ?The Dark Knight? is only one Senegal or Suriname release away from hitting the billion-dollar mark. If Oscars are awarded on which movies are the most enjoyable however this raises an important question: Can anybody really say they enjoyed all two hours and 30 minutes of ?The Dark Knight?? (Note: By ?anybody? I mean anybody other than the type of person who is already working on her costume for 2009′s Comic-Con or who secretly wears colored tights to work because he wants that special superhero-snug feeling. ) Then again if enjoyment were a prime consideration I’d probably have to vote for ?Forgetting Sarah Marshall? and it’s certainly no ?Annie Hall. ? But what’s so great about ?The Dark Knight?? Now that the summer hype has subsided the film reveals itself as a misshapen inorganic jumble. It’s no mistake Christopher Nolan is the same director behind the reverse-plotted ?Memento? because at times ?The Dark Knight? seems to be going backward.
