com –> Victor Mooney is taking the long way from Senegal to New York. The 43-year-old Forest Hills resident will row 8000 miles across the Atlantic to raise awareness and money for AIDS research. "I won’t be the first person to row the Atlantic but I will be the first New Yorker" said Mooney who lost a brother to AIDS in 1983 and has another brother living with HIV.
