Speaking in Ethiopia the AU’s top peace and security official Said Djinnit said 10 peacekeepers were killed in the attack. AU officers said the dead included a police officer from Senegal two military observers from Botswana and Mali and seven soldiers from Nigeria. At least seven peacekeepers were wounded. “Some fled on foot and by car and have called us” the AU officer said. “But we’re very worried for some of them. And it account why the people suffer from soil infertility erosion and landslide time and again. In effect one of our biggest issues at stake is to focus on these areas where we see big danger. However like in other program countries in African like Mali Senegal and Ethiopia some progressive farmers in Cameroon are appreciating it. It¡¯s my hope that within the next twenty years or so couple with more programs being implemented and more education happening underground African farmers will see the value in this. And even as more deforestation is happening and as timber companies are coming in and sweeping away the forest people will see the value of planting more trees. Well like any new idea people take in time to make others understand. To say the least I can say I am happy it is really working to those progressive farmers in particular areas.
